So, I recently said goodbye to what was definitely the most enjoyable and happiest summer Ive ever experienced. I guess it was the "final summer": the summer after my senior year in highschool. I spend alot of time with all my closest friends and it was pretty much 3 months of what Ive wished for every previous summer. I was generally happy, in an awesome band, spent everyday in great company, and still held it together in a manner that didn't just lead to everyday excess.
Its been about three weeks since that summer officially ended. I moved to Austin to attend The University of Texas and my friends all went in different directions. Now that school has started Im drifting farther and farther away from the hazy happiness I found myself wading across during the summer. Still, I stopped making new regrets the day following highschool graduation so my summer was virtually flawless in every sense that I had control over. So the summer was great but Im stuck really wishing that summer would grow over into duration of my life. At least it happened though, exactly the way I would've wanted it. So, I want to give a big thank you to all the friends who made this last summer fucking awesome.........

(but thanks anyway)

"did you know my mom's still a virgin?"
"I don't believe that's possible, unless you were adopted."
